As we say in my hometown of New Orleans, "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" Let the good times roll! New Orleans is a city of celebration and I am a NOLA girl to the core. I love a good party! It was in my DNA to find my way to wedding planning and event coordinating as a career. I didn't realize as I was helping friends and family members coordinate their parties, volunteering on local political campaign events, or when I set up functions at our local Country Club that I was gaining experience and knowledge that would be useful down the road. I was just doing what came naturally to me. Over the years I’ve worked in retail, as a receptionist, assistant club manager, hostess, server, and bartender. With the majority of my background in the hospitality industry, I have gained a unique insight when it comes to managing issues, different personalities, and requests of any kind. I’m a born planner, problem solver, and I excel under pressure.
Though I’ve stepped in and out of the event planning industry, it was after I helped a close friend coordinate her wedding that I realized I had found my niche. I experienced great joy as her day came together and she was truly able to enjoy herself. It was then that I understood my previous occupational, personal, and social experiences had been preparing me to start my own business.
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina flipped my world upside down! I moved to Nashville, Tennessee where I begin to put the pieces back together. I’m so thankful Nashville was the city I choose. It was there that I met my husband, Michael. We could have never imagined back in 2009, when we decided to get married in Las Vegas, that life would bring us here just a short year later. We have put roots down in fabulous Las Vegas and are excited for what the future holds.
Outside of our busy work schedules, Michael and I thoroughly enjoy traveling, spending time with our families (I have 6 brothers, 3 sister-in-laws & 10 nieces and nephews!) and friends, a glass (or 3!) of wine in the back yard, a relaxing day by the pool, football on the weekends (WHO DAT & Geaux Tigers) and the occasional Netflix binge!
